I bought the book (used) the other day. Read the first couple of chapters. Just took my assessment.  Then I read the next few chapters in the book.

In reading my standout report… and reflecting on the descriptions of the 9 Standout Roles, I really believe that my report misidentified one of my two roles.  It said I was an Advisor-Connector.  And I really debate the Connector part.  Very little of that role sounds like me.

I was really surprised that I didn’t rank higher in the Creator role… as feedback from co-workers over the years really suggested I should fall in that role.  And as I started reading the chapter that describes the Creator role, I kept saying “That’s me!  That’s me!” to a lot of the statements.

Now, I signed up for the email tips and advice.  But I’m thinking that’s going to be tailored to me being categorized as an “Advisor-Connector” ??    If so, I’d really like to change that to be “Advisor-Creator” (or “Creator-Advisor”… I doubt there’s much difference between the two?).   Is there some way I can change such a setting myself?  (Not seeing one in the various account settings / controls.)   Is there someone I can reach out to in order to get that done?
