We’re kicking off this StandOut Insights themed release with a brand-new tool that will equip anyone to become a data expert. The StandOut Data Primer is new documentation that goes back to the basics to answer any data questions that you might have.

This tool will include an overview of all StandOut metrics associated with the Check-In and Engagement Pulse features, including a glossary and guidance on how the data points connect. The quick reference format will support HR practitioners--or anyone who is curious--in understanding more about the metrics that are calculated and reported in the platform and data extracts. 📊

A new story type is being added to the suite of StandOut Insights stories: it’s called StandOut Data Deep Dive and we’re pleased to share that it’ll be available to all clients.  New to StandOut Insights? This is a StandOut Reporting feature that delivers ready-made digital presentations featuring employee-level data calculations. The stories are easily shareable with anyone in your organization, from senior leaders to front-line workers, offering a simple way to communicate the positive impact of StandOut. 

 

While other StandOut Insights stories require a certain level of data criteria to generate, StandOut Data Deep Dive generates using existing data, so you’ll be sure to receive a story regardless of adoption.

 

What’s included?

  • An Adoption Summary that dives into the data
  • A Power of Attention section that examines to impact of leader attention on engagement

  • What’s Next

The StandOut Data Deep Dive story can be found in StandOut Reporting → StandOut Insights, and practitioners will also receive an in-platform notification and email each time a new story is generated. There’s a shareable link at the top of the story, through which practitioners may easily send the story to anyone else in the organization as long as they have an active StandOut account. As with all other StandOut Insights Stories, all charts are easily exportable from the slides and PDF views are available as well.

Country & Industry benchmark data in StandOut Reporting has been updated with data collected as part of ADP Research’s 2025 Global Survey of Engagement. Data was collected in August 2025 and includes the additions of the countries Austria and Turkey.

New episode! StandOut Connection Series

 

Our StandOut Connection series is back with Episode 2: Strengths Insights in Action! This 3.5-minute animated video shows how Team Leaders can inspire stronger connection and collaboration among their Team Members by helping them share insights about their StandOut Roles. While it is set in a hospital with a team of nurses discussing a patient safety metric, the video is relevant for any team that discusses elements of their work together, and helps team leaders see the simplicity and impact of asking their team members to share insights about their StandOut Roles to build stronger connection and collaboration.

 

We created the StandOut Connections series in response to the client request for simple and brief animated videos to provide to buse team leaders, with actionable insights into ways leaders can use StandOut to support connections on their team. Just as the videos are 3 minutes or less, the simple actions they encourage team leaders to take can easily be done in 3 minutes or less--a small time commitment to drive meaningful impact!
