Research: The Power of Teammates
Aside from the team leader, teammates are the people that team members interact with most frequently. This frequent interaction - and often collaboration - paves the way for relationships that can add to or detract from the overall experience at work. We're sharing our research focused on understanding the value and power of the relationships between teammates and how they shape the team member work experience.

Position Paper: Connection
We’re re-releasing our Connection Position Paper with updated research on the qualities that make a connection great and how team leaders and team members can foster this within their relationships.

Cultivating Team Connections Workshop
Employees who have strong connections with their coworkers and leaders are more likely to be fully engaged and less likely to leave an organization voluntarily. We're creating brand new content to help you cultivate powerful connections on your teams, including a new 90-minute workshop.

Engagement Pulse Benchmark Data
Engagement Pulse reporting will be updated with new benchmark data that includes 2024 results.

Engagement Pulse User Experience Updates
We're making a few minor changes to the StandOut Assessment experience to ensure that it's as smooth as possible, including removing the timer and voice over features and adding new accessibility alerts.

Research: Check-Ins in the Real World
Of course, Check-Ins have already been heavily researched and proven to correlate strongly with engagement at work, and now additional efforts are underway to understand what this ritual looks like, feels like, and sounds like for current StandOut users. Using data collected via self-report questionnaires, focus groups, and interviews, we're further defining the perceived value of Check-Ins from the team leader and team member perspectives and identifying the characteristics of a meaningful Check-In conversation.

Check-Ins: Editable Loves and Loathes
Delivering on a request we've heard directly from clients, we're updating the Check-In experience to allow your teams to add/edit Loves & Loathes throughout the current Check-In week. With this update, we’ll set the Loves & Loathes section to be editable (just as the other sections of the Check-In are currently). If an update is made, a notification will be sent to the team leaders.

Check-Ins: Private Notes for Team Leaders
We’ve heard you! You want a refreshed Check-In experience, and specifically one that would enable taking notes to prepare for your Check-In conversations. Additionally, we recognize that dynamic and static team leaders have a need to collaborate on a Check-In and highlight the most urgent needs for the week. A new field will be added to the Check-In to enable this, and will only be visible to the static and dynamic team leaders of an individual.

Check-Ins: Rotating Questions
We're freshening up the Check-In experience by adding a new and engaging optional question each week to trigger consistently meaningful conversations between your employees and their team leaders.

StandOut Platform New Language Translations
In addition to our existing platform translations options, we’re adding the following this cycle: English (UK, Australia, Canada), Dutch, Hindi, Romanian, Spanish (International, Mexico).

Engagement Pulse Intelligence
We’re very excited to be combine the power of Engagement Groups and Coaching Intelligence in order to provide meaningful insights and guidance for team leaders! With this new feature, team leaders with a closed Engagement Pulse and 3 or more responders will see customized and actionable guidance on how to proceed with positively impacting their teams’ engagement levels.

LOVE the rotating question. I would also love to see the ability to add a personalized note to the Nudge added to the platform. We have received a number of requests for this functionality.
